Customize the contract line grid layout

Sage Intacct administrators can change the column layout for the contract line grid layout in the Contracts page. You can customize the display to show only the columns that are meaningful to your company and arrange them in any desired order. The columns that do not display on the page are still accessible by selecting Show Details for each contract line item.

Custom fields are not supported in the grid layout.

Changing the contract grid layout affects everyone who uses Contracts. You can't create one page configuration for one individual and then a different page configuration for another individual.
  1. Go to Contracts > All > Contracts.
  2. Find the contract for which you want to customize the contract line grid.
  3. Select More actionsEdit at the end of the row.
  4. In the contract, select More actions and then select Edit contract lines layout.

    The Show details section for the first contract line expands and displays the fields that you can add to the grid. It's also the section to which you can drag columns that you do not want to appear in the column layout.

  5. To move a column, hover over it until you see your cursor change to a four-headed arrow: An arrow with four directions. Then select and drag the column to another area of the page. You can:
    • Change the order of the grid columns. Hover over the heading of the column you want to move. When your cursor changes into a four-headed arrow, select and drag the column to the left or the right. A gray vertical bar indicates where the column will appear when dropped.
    • Move a grid column to the Details section. Hover over the heading of the column you want to move. When your cursor changes into a four-headed arrow, select and drag the column into the Details section. A gray horizontal bar indicates where the field will appear when dropped.
      If you do not see a horizontal gray line where you want to drop a field, that means that you can't put the field in that position. Drag the field around the section to locate the available positions.
    • Move a field from the Details section to the grid. In the Details section, hover over the field that you want to move. When your cursor changes to a four-headed arrow, select and drag the field into the grid column area. A gray vertical bar indicates where the column will appear when dropped.
    • Rearrange the fields in the Details section. Hover over the field that you want to move. When your cursor changes to a four-headed arrow, select and drag the field. A horizontal gray bar indicates where the field will appear when dropped.
  6. When you’ve finished customizing the layout, select the Apply the layout changes to all form views (Create, Edit, View) checkbox.
  7. Select Save layout.

    This new layout will display for anyone who uses the Contracts page.

    If you make an error or change your mind, select Reset to Default. Sage Intacct resets this page to its default layout view.
