Connect a CIP asset with a project—Fixed Assets Management

If you subscribe to Projects, you can link a project to a CIP asset to save time when adding costs. When you select the project dimension on an AP supplier invoice or purchasing transaction line, the associated CIP asset defaults automatically.

Permissions	Fixed Assets Management Asset: List, View Projects Projects: List, View, Add, Edit
Configuration	Construction in Progress (CIP) must be enabled in Fixed Assets Management Configuration.

Go to Projects > All > Projects.
Find the project that you want to associate with a CIP asset.
Select Edit at the end of the row.
In the Dimensions section, select a CIP asset.

Only assets in the Construction in progress state appear in this list.
Select Save.
