Set up Collaborate: Intacct only

The Intacct Collaborate Intacct-only option enables collaboration interactions within Intacct only. Choose this option if your organization does not use Salesforce.

Set up Intacct Collaborate to speed up internal communications for your company, by enabling users to have conversations on actual Intacct records. For more information about how Collaborate works, see the Intacct Collaborate center.

Intacct-only subscription and setup

If you’re going to use Collaborate only in Intacct, follow these steps to subscribe and set up Collaborate.

The following steps are for Intacct-only use of Collaborate. To extend Chatter from Salesforce into Intacct, you must configure Salesforce before following these steps. For more information on Salesforce configuration requirements, see Set up Collaborate: Extend Salesforce Chatter.

To subscribe to and configure Intacct Collaborate:

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Subscriptions > Intacct Collaborate and select the toggle icon.
  2. Select Subscribe in the pop-up.
  3. Read the Intacct Collaborate service agreement. If you agree to the terms, select Accept.
  4. Set your configuration options using the following table.

    Select Intacct only to limit collaboration to inside your Intacct company, or if you do not use Salesforce.

    If you want to use Intacct Collaborate with your existing Salesforce company, you must configure Salesforce before you enable Collaborate in Intacct. For more information, see Set up Collaborate: Extend Salesforce Chatter.
    Verify contact informationEnsure that your company contact information is up to date.
    Exclude users from CollaborateYou can choose to exclude users from the Collaborate feed.
  5. Save your subscription and configuration options.

After Intacct Collaborate is enabled in Intacct, all users have access to Collaborate. You can return to the Intacct Collaborate subscription page to exclude users from Collaborate if needed.
