Intacct Collaborate dashboard snapshots

With Intacct Collaborate, you can post a snapshot of a dashboard to help other users follow changes in information.

Snapshots are only available for use with dashboards.
Subscription Intacct Collaborate
User type

All user types have access to Intacct Collaborate after you’ve subscribed.

Prerequisites

To use Intacct Collaborate dashboard snapshots, you must be subscribed to the Intacct Collaborate application. For more information, see About Intacct Collaborate

Intacct Collaborate dashboard snapshots are supported on the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
Intacct Collaborate dashboard snapshots do not work with Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Add Intacct Collaborate to a dashboard

Before you can take snapshots of dashboards, you must add an Intacct Collaborate feed to the dashboard.

After the feed is added, the Collaborate feed can be treated like any other dashboard component.

To add an Intacct Collaborate feed to a dashboard:

  1. Go to a dashboard.
  2. In the upper right of the page, select Add.
  3. Set the Component type to Collaboration Feed.
  4. Set Social Feed to the feed you want to use for this dashboard. You can add:
    • What I Follow feed: shows updates for everything that you follow, including posts from people you follow, groups you’re a member of, and files and records you’re following.
    • To Me feed: shows posts that are made on your profile page, including posts others make; posts and comments where you’ve been mentioned; and posts you made that have comments.
    • Company feed: shows posts and comments from your entire company
    • Group feeds: posts and comments from specific groups you’re a member of.
  5. Enter a Component title, or use the automatically generated title.
  6. Enter the Height of the feed in pixels, or use the automatically generated height.
  7. Select Show collapsed to have the Collaborate feed collapsed automatically when you open the dashboard. Leave unchecked if you want to see the Collaborate feed expanded.
  8. Save your changes.

Take and share a snapshot

After you've added an Intacct Collaborate feed to your dashboard, you’re ready to take a snapshot.

To take a snapshot:

  1. From the Intacct Collaborate feed on your dashboard, select Snapshot.
    Dashboard components available to have a snapshot taken are highlighted.
  2. Choose which component to use in your snapshot and select Select on the component.
    A snapshot of your selected component is shown in the post field of your Intacct Collaborate feed.
    1. Select Edit if you want to add call outs, circle important data, or otherwise highlight information you want to share. Select Save changes when finished editing.
    2. Select Remove if you want to remove the selected component snapshot.
  3. Say something about the snapshot.
  4. Use the dropdown menu to share it with your followers or a specific group, and select Share.
