Assign instances to a user—Consoles
You can assign instances to a user. You can also remove an assigned instance from a user.
If you want to edit all user assignments for a particular instance, go to Assign users to an instance.

Go to My practice or Console > Users and contacts and select Users.

Find the user and select Edit assignments.

Select an instance in the Available box.

Select the >> arrows to move the instance to the Assigned box.
You can assign a user read-only access to this instance. Select the instance in the Assigned box and then select the Read only checkbox. -
Select Save.
To remove an instance from the Assigned box, select the instance and select << arrows.
Field descriptions

| User ID | The ID of the user that you selected from the Edit assignments link. |
| Username | The name of the selected user. |

Select instances: Available and Assigned |
The Available box displays a list of instances that can be assigned to the user. The Assigned box displays a list of instances that are assigned to the user. |

Access inherited by user: Instance and User group |
Displays a list of instances and assigned user groups to which the selected user belongs. This user has access to all instances displayed. If the user is not associated with any user groups that are assigned to instances, this section does not display. |
