About Order Entry
Automate quote to cash for easier, faster order management with Sage Intacct's Order Entry application. Order Entry lets you handle high order volumes, sophisticated workflows, and complex pricing structures while saving time, ensuring accuracy, and improving profitability.
With the Order Entry application, you can:
- Create quotes, sales orders, shippers, invoices, credit memos, and returns.
- Convert transactions from one type to another type. For example, convert a sales order to an OE sales invoice, thereby maintaining accuracy while speeding data entry.
- Tailor the workflow to your business model. Intacct supplies a set of standard transaction definitions sufficient for most businesses. You can customize these transaction definitions or create new ones specifically for the way you do business. No scripting or coding required.
- Set user permissions to enable user access to only specific processes, transactions, and reports. For example, several people might create sales orders, but only the billing manager needs to generate and email invoices.
Other key features:
- Calculations: Easily compute discounts, shipping, handling, and other charges for each transaction using flexible subtotaling.
- Line item ship-to control: Set ship-to by line item to consolidate items being shipped to different addresses on a single invoice.
- Defined prices and discounts: Configure different pricing schedules for customer groups or individuals by time periods, products, or entire product lines.
- Flexible pricing options: Work with virtually any pricing structure—from simple fixed prices to a series of price lists.
- Integrates seamlessly with Salesforce: Sales and finance groups can share pricing data, order status, and other information without entering the data twice. Optional Salesforce module required.
