View, edit, and delete task groups
A task is a unit of work to be performed for a project, and task group is a type of dimension. A task group simplifies the process of capturing task data for projects as you enter transactions. If you have the right permissions, you can easily view, edit, and delete task groups.

View task group details
- Go to Projects > Setup > Tasks > Groups.
- Find the task group in the list that has the details you want to view.
- Select More actions > View at the end of the row.
- Go toProjects > Setup > Tasks > Groups.
- Find the task group in the list that has the details you want to view.
- At the end of the row, select View.
Edit a task group
- Go to Projects > Setup > Tasks > Groups.
- Find the task group in the list that has the details you want to edit.
- Select More actions > Edit at the end of the row.
- Make your changes and select Save.
- Go toProjects > Setup > Tasks > Groups.
- Find the task group in the list that has the details you want to edit.
- At the end of the row, select Edit.
- Make your changes and select Save.
Delete a task group
- Go to Projects >Setup > Tasks > Groups.
- Find the group that you want to delete.
- Select More actions > Delete at the end of the row.
- Select Delete to confirm.
- Go to Projects >Setup > Tasks > Groups.
- Find the group in the list that you want to delete.
- At the end of the row, select Delete.
- Select Delete to confirm.
