Create a financial report or graph from the dashboard
You can start the Financial Report Writer or graph creation tool directly from a dashboard. From there, create a new financial report or graph and add it to the dashboard.

These steps explain how to create a financial report from scratch. If you want to create the report by duplicating another one and modifying it, complete that by accessing the Financial Report Writer from the Reports menu. Then you can add it to the dashboard.
- Go to Dashboards > All > Dashboards.
- Find the dashboard in the list.

Select Components.
Select View components.
- In the upper right corner, select Add.
- From the Component type dropdown list, select Report.
- Next to the Component field, select Add.
- Create your report in the Financial Report Writer.

Select Save to save the report.
The new report is automatically selected.
- Select Save to add the report to the dashboard.

- Go to Dashboards > All > Dashboards.
- Find the dashboard in the list.

Select Components.
Select View components.
- In the upper right corner of the dashboard window, select Add.
- In the Component type dropdown list, select Chart.
- Next to the Component field, select Add.
- Create your graph in the financial graph creator window.

Select Save to save the graph.
The new graph is automatically selected.
- Select Save to add the graph to the dashboard.
