How to read the chart
The Gantt chart is a split-page with projects, tasks, and resource assignments on the left side, and a bar chart on the right. You can scroll through the left portion of the split-page to see key project metrics like start and finish dates, estimated hours, observed hours, approved hours, and more.
Your projects and tasks are measured against time, so you can see how long each will take and how much progress has been made. The entire bar represents the duration of a project, task, or resource assignment. Inside each bar is a shaded area which designates actual work that's been completed.
Task dependencies and multi-segment scheduling of resources display graphically in the chart. Learn more about setting up task dependencies and multi-segment scheduling.
