Link an employee to a user—Sage Intelligent Time

Linking an employee to a user is necessary to access and use Sage Intelligent Time. To link an employee to a user, the Primary contact name on the employee record must match the Contact name on the user record.

Previous step: Turn on Intelligent time

Step 1. Set the contact on an employee record

  1. Go to CompanySetupCross-company dimensions > Employees.

  2. Edit an employee or add a new one.

  3. Set the Primary contact name to the same value as the contact on the user record.

Step 2. Set the contact on a user record

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Users.

  2. Edit a user or add a new one.

  3. Set the Contact name to the same value as the contact on the employee record.
