Configure Intacct settings for Sage Intelligent Time
Before turning on Sage Intelligent Time (SIT), it's important to understand how your Intacct company's configuration affects SIT.
SIT uses information from Time and the General Ledger to determine what's displayed in SIT timesheets and how the timesheets behave when synced to Intacct. For example, the settings in Time configuration determine how time is tracked, the duration of a timesheet, the number of hours in a work day, and what unit of time your company uses to track time.
Time configuration settings
SIT uses the following settings in Time configuration. To update these settings, go to Configure Time.
Individual project settings
SIT uses the following settings within individual projects.
To change these settings, go to Projects > All > Projects and select Edit next to a specific project. All settings in the Project tab are included in SIT.
| Setting | Notes |
|---|---|
| Project tab | |
|
Status |
A Project must have a Status of Active or On Hold to be included in SIT. |
|
Dimensions |
Dimensions selected will populate automatically in SIT timesheets when the project is used. For example, if Project Lion has a Department value selection of 100--Operations, when you assign time to your timesheet in SIT to Project Lion, the department information is populated with 100-Operations automatically. |

General Ledger configuration settings
Dimensions that populate automatically in SIT are based on the dimension relationships set up in the General Ledger.
To change these relationships, go to General Ledger > Setup > Configuration > Advanced GL options > Dimension relationships.
There’s also a hierarchy of dimensions to be aware of when setting up dimension relationships. For more information, go to Dimensions overview.
