Usage insights

We're excited to announce the launch of Usage insights, a new tool designed to empower you with real-time data and actionable insights to optimize your company's operations.

Usage insights unifies visibility across your company. Information is consolidated real-time from multiple sources, providing a comprehensive view of your entire operation. This gives you operational intelligence to make confident choices. Insights previously hidden in your data come to the surface, allowing you to optimize processes and achieve better outcomes.

You can also go beyond basic reporting. Usage insights delivers deep dives into key areas like transaction volume, usage patterns, access and permissions, and more. This information empowers you to take proactive steps with your business.

Details

Usage insights provides pre-built views of metrics to facilitate operational decision-making about your accounting processes.

There are several key areas.

Overview tab

  • Track active customer and vendor growth.

  • Monitor Intacct subscription module activations and user activity, such as login.

  • View the number of locations associated with your entities.

Customers tab

  • Analyze customer growth trends.

  • Visualize customer locations on a map for better geographical understanding.

Suppliers tab

  • Analyze supplier growth.

  • Visualize supplier locations on a map.

  • Track Accounts Payable AP supplier invoices over time.

API usage tab

The API usage information has been moved to a tab in Usage insights.

  • API usage includes API transactions originating from Web Services and AJAX calls for the current month and the previous 3 months. These transactions can be made by your company's custom integrations, partner integrations, or by Sage Intacct applications.

How it works

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Usage metrics > Usage insights.

  2. Select one of the tabs to view insights.

  3. Sort and filter the data to gain insights into different aspects of your Sage Intacct company.
