User interface changes

In this release, we updated aspects of the user interface throughout Intacct for clarity and consistency.

Company and Administration On the Company information page, we changed the name of the ID field to Company ID to differentiate it from the new Customer ID field. ID Company ID
Fixed Assets Management On the Depreciation schedule, Post depreciation, and Bulk action run pages we changed the name of the Posting date field to differentiate it from the new Actual posting date field. Posting date Scheduled posting date
Fixed Assets Management On the Asset, Depreciation schedule, Post depreciation, and Bulk action run pages, we changed the names of two fields to align with their function.

We updated the labels for two checkboxes in the Billing section on the Additional info tab of the Project information page.

  • Billable employee expenses

  • Billable AP and PO

  • Default employee expenses to billable

  • Default AP and PO entries to billable

Purchasing When creating an approval policy, you can now select a user rule type, and then select the specific user.

Previous way:

  • In the Rule type column select <Named user>

New way:

  • In the Rule type column select User level

  • In the User column select a specific user

WIP Management

Requires the Construction subscription.
In WIP schedules, we've changed two fields from showing year to date amounts to showing job to date amounts.

  • Job to date underbilled

You can see this change in the Enhanced list view only.

From the top level of the Items list, there is a new way to filter a list to include items created in other entities.

Previous way:

In the Items list, select the Include private checkbox.

New way:

In the Items list, select the Filters button and then select the Include entity data checkbox.
