Fixed Assets Management reporting now available in ICRW

We're excited to announce that Interactive Custom Report Writer (ICRW) now supports Fixed Assets Management.

Roll forward depreciation report view.

We’ve added a prebuilt report—titled Assets, Depreciation, and NBV—to the ICRW Report Library to help you analyze fixed assets data quickly and accurately. You can also build your own custom reports using Fixed Assets Management objects to meet your organization’s unique needs.

ICRW requires a separate subscription. For information on attaining an ICRW subscription, contact your Sage Intacct account manager.

Details

In the Assets, Depreciation, and NBV report, you can choose from the following views.

  • Depreciation Details: Shows a comprehensive view of depreciation for specific assets.

  • Summary by Asset Classification: Shows costs and depreciation balances grouped by asset classification.

  • Roll Forward Depreciation: Over a specified period, shows the beginning accumulated depreciation balance, depreciation expenses recorded during the period, and the ending accumulated depreciation balance. Also shows Net Book Value.

  • Basic Asset List: Shows a list of assets, along with additional details about the assets.

  • Assets by Location: Shows a list of assets grouped by location, along with additional details about the assets.

  • Assets by Employee: Shows a list of assets grouped by employee, along with additional details about the assets.

How it works

  1. Go to Reports > Advanced > Interactive Custom Reports.

  2. Select Report library.

  3. Find the Assets, Depreciation, and NBV report in the list.

  4. Select Run interactive.

  5. Optionally, define filters for the report.

    You can filter by:

    • Journal

    • Asset (ID, Name, In-service date)

    • Asset classification

    • Depreciation entry (State, Posting date)

    • Time period for roll forward depreciation

    • Department, Location, and Employee dimensions (ID, Name)

  6. Select OK.

  7. Use the dropdown at the top of the page to switch between different report views.
