Permission changes

You can find information about the permissions needed for each new feature in the Permissions and other requirements section of its associated release note.

Updated

We've updated aspects of the following permissions.

Time—Sage Intelligent Time

• Time preferences: View

  This permission now enables the Leave management feature on the Time menu.

  We made this change September 2025.

Added

All new permissions are automatically off by default, unless otherwise noted.

Contracts

• Contract: Historical

  Allows you to create and edit historical contract lines.

Removed

Consoles

• Slide-in permissions: Subordinate company (anonymous slide-in users), Consoles (named slide-in users)
  We removed the slide-permission option from the Practice information page for consoles.
