Remove a duplicate customer
You might have created two customer records for the same customer. While you can't merge these records, you can deactivate one record and keep the other record active.
Wait until all AR sales invoices have been paid for the duplicate customer, then deactivate the record.
Past transactions are still tied to the inactive customer record. You'll need to create reports and view the Customer Aging report for both customers (the one you kept and the duplicate) as you can't merge this data.
