Administration reports

It can be helpful to have reports that provide insight into the administrative aspects of the company, for example, reports on users, auditing and permissions.

Use a combination of standard and custom reports to track what's going on with users and groups.

  • Access log
  • Email delivery log
  • Audit log (remember logs have new names)
  • Audit trail
  • Advanced audit trail
  • Queue administration
  • API usage detail

One of the most important areas when troubleshooting what users see regarding reports is to make sure that users have the right permissions to see the reports. Users might need not only reports permissions, but permissions to see the data in the area that the report shows. For example, you might have permissions to see a report about sales, but only for certain regions or representatives.

For more information, see effective permissions and roles.

Most of the reports and logs here require admin access.
