Configure Customization Services

Customization Services enables you to customize your company to suit your business needs. For example, you can add fields, email notifications, rules, warnings, and reports.

After you've subscribed to Customization Services, users with permission to the application see Customization Services added to their menu.

Subscribe to Customization Services

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Subscriptions.

  2. Select the Customization Services icon and then select Subscribe.

Grant users permissions to Customization Services

Set permissions for users who need to access Customization Services. For example, if a user needs access to Customization Services to add custom reports, assign the user permissions for Custom Reports.

A user can only set up customization activities for objects and fields to which they already have permissions. For example, if a user does not have access to the Customer record, that user cannot add customizations related to the Customer record, even if they have Customization Services permissions.
