Assign Sandbox permissions

A sandbox is a copy of your production environment that you can use for testing or training purposes without affecting the data or configuration of your production environment.

Provisioning can confirm your eligibility for sandbox automation, and enable your Sage Intacct environment for Sandboxes. For more information on eligibility and next steps, go to About Sandboxes.

Before you begin

To view and access Sandboxes from the menu and perform sandbox activities, you must first assign sandbox permissions to your role or user. Once permissions are assigned, the Sandboxes application becomes available.

Assign Sandbox permissions to roles

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Roles.

  2. Find the role and select Subscriptions.

  3. Find the Company application and select Permissions.

  4. Select the Sandbox permissions: List, View, Add, Edit, Delete, Refresh.

  5. Select Save.

  6. Select Save again.

  4. Find the Company application and select Permissions.

  5. Select the Sandbox permissions: List, View, Add, Edit, Delete, Refresh.

  6. Select Save.

  7. Select Save again.

Assign Sandbox permissions to users

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Users.

  2. Find the user and select Subscriptions.

  3. Find the Company application and select Permissions.

  4. Select the Sandbox permissions: List, View, Add, Edit, Delete, Refresh.

  5. Select Save.

  6. Select Save again.
