Training with Sage University

Sage University provides training that you can take at your own pace. Our training helps you develop the skills and knowledge that you need to work effectively and efficiently in Sage Intacct.

About Sage University courses

Our courses help you learn Sage Intacct at your own pace. We update our courses with every product release so that you get instruction on the latest features and product updates in each course. You can also earn CPE credits upon completion of specific courses, as noted in Sage University.

Complimentary courses

We offer complimentary training to all users to help you get started with Sage Intacct. You do not need a Learning Membership to take these complimentary courses. All you need is a Sage account and Sage University profile.

To get started, take courses on getting started topics, including the Sage Intacct Fundamentals course. These complimentary courses are designed to help new users get the most out of Sage Intacct quickly.

Learning membership courses

We offer additional courses on more complex topics with a subscription to the Sage Intacct Learning Membership.

Get access to an expanding library of exclusive courses that cover popular and complex topics.

Additionally, some of our Learning Membership courses include a lab component to enhance your learning on more complex subjects. These courses might include the following additional items:

  • Student workbook

  • Hands-on activities

  • Training company to work in

  • Instructor Q&A support

Not all training courses have their terminology localized yet. For example, you might see vendor instead of supplier. While some terminology might be different, the concepts in training courses are the same. For information on terms that may differ in your location, see Terminology across locales.

Before you start, connect to Sage University from within Sage Intacct.

In Sage University, you can browse in a variety of ways:

  • View complimentary training: View courses available to everybody. No Learning Membership required. You just need a Sage account and Sage University profile.

  • View all training: Browse through the catalog for a comprehensive look into all available courses (includes both complimentary and Learning Membership training).

    • Browse course catalog: Search for specific courses, or filter by Delivery Method to find training that matches your needs.

    • Learning paths: View our recommended courses for different types of Intacct roles.

Your learner home provides you with an intuitive hub to help you navigate your learning with Sage University. Through your learner home, you can view your transcripts, certifications, overall hours of completed training, and personal recommendations for courses.

Pause or resume a course

You do not need to complete the training in one session. You can pause and return to a course at any time.

To resume a course:

  1. Go to Help & Support > Sage University.
  2. Select View my transcript.
  3. Find your in-progress courses in your learning transcript list and select Open Curriculum.
  4. Select Launch to resume a course.
