Edit custom fields

You can edit a custom field that you previously created to optimize its functionality or to change its behavior.

In picklist and picklist multi-select fields, Sage Intacct recommends not removing or changing the picklist values. When you remove picklist values, they no longer show as options in records where the selections were previously applied. When you change an existing picklist value, the former value no longer appears in the picklist, even in existing records.
  1. Depending on your subscription, do one of the following:
    • Go to Platform Services > All > Object customization > Custom fields.
    • Go to Customization Services > All > Object customization > Custom fields.

  2. Select Edit at the end of the row.

  3. Change any parameters as needed.
  4. Select Save.

If a custom field is installed as part of a package, it uses the package name. You can only view a custom field that's part of a package.
