Edit a project
When you have the right permissions, you can modify a project to reflect any changes.

Access can vary depending on your organization's subscriptions and your permissions to features. Subscribe to the Projects application to enable Project Costing. Timesheets are available with a subscription to Time and Expenses. You must have the Time application to approve timesheets. |

Modify an existing project
Use the following steps to make changes to a project. For more information on the fields on the Project information tabs, see see Field descriptions: Project information.
- Go to Projects > All > Projects.
- Find the project in the list and select the Project name link.
- Select Edit in the top menu bar and modify the necessary Project fields in the following sections:
- Project info
- Dimensions
- Contacts
- People
- Select the Additional info tab and modify the necessary fields in the following sections:
- Tax settings
- Progress
- Billing
- Documents
- Business rules
- Select the Resources and billing tab and modify the necessary fields in the following sections:
- Resource search
- Resource schedules
- Billing control
- Select the Project summary tab and modify the necessary fields in the following sections:
- Financial summary
- Project projections
- Hours
- Employee, Accounts Payable, purchase order expenses
- Select the Tasks tab and do the following as necessary:
- Add tasks to the list.
- Edit tasks in the list.
- Select Save in the top menu bar.
