Project Progress Billings report
The Project Progress Billings report lets you see exactly where you are in your project's budget. The report includes data on what's been billed and what's left to be billed, in addition to budgeted hours, hours billed to date, and remaining hours to be billed. Use various filters (for example, Customer ID or Project ID) to find exactly the information you need about the progress of your project billings relative to your estimates.
This report applies to billable Time & Materials project and fixed-price projects.
To access the Project Progress billings report, go to Projects > All > Reports > Project reports > Project > Progress billings.

To find this report on your menu, first install it from Customization Services or Platform Services. |
Install the report
Install the Resource Schedule Analysis by Project report either from Customization Services or Platform Services, depending on which you subscribe to. After it's installed, your report will appear under Project Reports in the Projects dropdown menu.
To install the report:
Either:
- Go to Customization Services > Overview, then select the icon for Customization Packages. On the Customization Packages page, select Packages Library. Find your report and select Install.
Or:
- Go to Platform Services > Packages and select Package Library. Find your report and select Install.
Run the report
You can select the types of items to include and specify how you want the report to appear.
- Select the Filters that you want to include in your report.
- Filters enable you to include or exclude specific types of data in the report, such as customer, revenue account or deferred revenue account.
- For example, you could filter by Customer ID to see all the projects for a particular customer, and how many hours that customer has been billed for.
- Optionally, Format your report. Generally, you can set the layout of the report and the grouping and display of the report contents.
- Enter a title, subtitle, and footer text for your report.
- View, process, memorize, or export the report.

Memorize (that is, save) the report in the Memorized Reports list so that later you can refer back to it or modify and re-run it. Reports that you memorize can be scheduled to be run on a recurring basis and automatically emailed or delivered to a cloud storage location.

After you run a report, you can also either email it to others or return to the Report Settings page to refine the results.

Report filters
Use filters to focus the results of your report. In effect, filters enable you to isolate and assemble just the data you want. You can set any combination of filters.
To set the filters to fine-tune your report results:

Choose the project type for which you want to filter the report. Choose a Time & Materials project which has already been billed to. |

Filter to only see data from projects which have scheduled begin dates within a certain window of time. For example, say you want to see data from all projects which began this year. You would enter 1/1/2015 in From Scheduled Begin Date, and 12/31/2015 in To Scheduled Begin Date. The format must be: MM/DD/YYYY |

Titles and footer
Titles, subtitles, and footers apply only to the print versions of this report. Export to Excel or CSV, or select Print for a PDF version.

Enter the title in the Report title 1 box.
- This title displays in large type at the top of the page, directly under your company name,
- You can type over any default name that appeared automatically in this box.

Enter the subtitle in the Report title 2 box.
The subtitle displays in smaller type, directly beneath the main title.
- Enter the footer text in the Footer text box. Footer text displays at the bottom center of the report.
You can use up to 80 characters, including spaces, in each title, subtitle, and footer.
What's in this report?
The default Project Progress Billing report consists of the following columns:
- Subtotal Name(Represents the Customer ID, and includes all projects associated with this customer.)
- Customer Name
- Project ID
- Project Name
- Project Start Date
- Budgeted Billing Amount
- Billed to Date
- Remaining to be Billed
- Budgeted Hours
- Hours Billed to Date
- Remaining Hours to be Billed
