2-step verification code not received

Didn't receive your verification code? Your administrator might need to reset your primary or backup phone number. The next time you log in, you'll be prompted to set up 2-step verification again.

I didn't receive a code on my phone

The primary or backup number on file for you might be incorrect. Ask your administrator to reset your primary or backup number. The next time you log in, you'll be prompted to enter a new number where you'll receive the verification code.

If you did not receive a verification code by text, it might be delayed. Use your backup method to receive a code.

To reset a primary or backup verification method (for Admins):
  1. Go to the User Information page (Company > All > Users & contacts > Users > Users > Edit).
  2. On the 2-step verification tab, select Remove next to the primary method or backup for this user.
  3. The next time the user signs in, they can choose how to receive a verification code (authenticator app, phone call, or text). If they choose to receive a code by phone call or text, they can enter the number at which they'd like to receive the code.
The most secure way to receive a verification code is to use an authenticator app. This is an app that you can get for free on your smart phone, which automatically generates a code every few seconds. Just enter the code that appears in your app at login.
