Field descriptions: Users list

The following table describes each item on the users list page.

Field Note

Edit

Displays the User Information page, where you can edit the information.

View

Displays the User Information page, where you can view but not edit the information.

User ID

When you create a user, you assign the person a user ID, name, password, and other personal information on the User Information page. You can edit these users as you would edit any user you’ve created.

Username

The name of the user.

User type

The user type that reflects the features that this user requires. Business users can be given access to any features, but other user types have limited access.

Admin privileges

Indicates whether the user is a Sage Intacct administrator.

  • False = not an administrator
  • True = limited administrator
  • Full = full administrator

Subscriptions

Shows which applications are currently assigned to the user.

View permissions and roles

Displays the Permissions and roles report, which contains information such as the user ID, roles assigned to the user, type of user, admin privileges, user permissions, and user groups.

If your company doesn't use roles to manage permissions, the link appears as View permissions.

Groups

Displays the names of users and user groups to whom this role is currently assigned.

Preferences

Displays the Preferences page for the selected user.

My dashboards

Displays a list of the dashboards that belong to the user currently logged in.

Delete

Removes the role only if hasn’t been assigned to anyone.

Add

Displays the User information page, where you can add a new user.
