Enable multiple transaction currencies
The option of using multiple transaction currencies is separate from multiple base currencies. Learn more about enabling multiple base currencies in your Intacct company.
The base currency is the operating and reporting currency for an Intacct company or entity. For example, a UK entity operates in the base currency of GBP, while a US entity operates in the base currency of USD. You run reports for the UK entity in GBP and for the US entity in USD.
You can choose to assign a different base currency to each entity in your multi-entity company. You do this by first enabling multi-base currencies and then enabling a separate base currency for each entity as needed.

Sage Intacct supports the use of different currencies for all your transactions. You can enable support for multiple transaction currencies in General Ledger. Selecting the multi-currency subscription in General Ledger enables multi-currency support throughout your Intacct company. This includes all subscriptions, applications, and options for managing currencies and exchange rates.
Multi-currency support refers to the use of multiple currencies in transactions and exchange rates throughout your company. Multiple base currency support, in contrast, refers to support for enabling a separate operating and reporting currency for each entity in your company.
