Account categories and account groups for the General QuickStart
Sage Intacct offers premade account groups based on account categories for companies who use the General QuickStart template to help your company use Intacct and meet your industry needs.
To verify that your company uses the General QuickStart, you need to be an Admin user with permissions to view your company information.
- Go to Company > Setup > Configuration > Company.
- Go to the Accounting tab.
- Ensure that the Setup template field is set to General.
You can download a list of account categories to see what's included with the General QuickStart template.
You can also view a list of the category-based account groups included with the General QuickStart in the Account groups library. The Services and General QuickStarts include an account group for EBITDA usable with the Financial Ratios report.
- Go to Reports > Setup > Account groups.
