Financial reports and graphs for the General QuickStart
If your company uses the General QuickStart template, you also have access to several of out-of-box financial reports designed to fulfill basic reporting needs and serve as a basis for your own report and graph creation.
To verify that your company uses the General QuickStart, you need to be an Admin user with permissions to view your company information.
- Go to Company > Setup > Configuration > Company.
- Go to the Accounting tab.
- Ensure that the Setup template field is set to General.
View and install reports
Intacct offers premade financial reports you can install from the financial reports library.
To view General financial reports:
- Go to General Ledger > All > Financial reporting > Financial reports.

Select QuickStart library to view all financial reports included with the General QuickStart.
To install financial reports:

Go to General Ledger > All > Financial reporting > Financial reports.
- From the Create dropdown button, select Create from library.
- Optionally select Layout to see what the report contains.
- Select Install next to a report you want to install.
- Optionally, change the Report name to the report name you want to appear in your company.
- Select Save.
- When you're finished, select Done to return to the reports library. The installed reports appear in your Financial reports list.

- Select QuickStart library on the upper right of the page.
- Optionally select Layout to see what the report contains.
- Select Install next to a report you want to install.
- Optionally, change the Report name to the report name you want to appear in your company.
- Select Save.
- When you're finished, select Done to return to the reports library. The installed reports appear in your Financial reports list.
View and install graphs
We also offer premade financial graphs which you can install from the financial graphs library.
To view General financial graphs:
- Go to General Ledger > All > Financial reporting > Financial graphs.

- Go to General Ledger > All > Financial reporting > Financial graphs.

Select Create > Create from library to view all graphs included with the General QuickStart.
To install financial graphs:
- Go to General Ledger > All > Financial reporting > Financial graphs.
- Select QuickStart library.
- Select Install along the same row as the graph you want to install.
- Optionally, change the name of the graph, then select Save.
- When you're done, select Done to return to the Financial graphs list and find the graph there.
- Go to General Ledger > All > Financial reporting > Financial graphs.
- From the Create dropdown button, select Create from library.
- Select Install along the same row as the graph you want to install.
- Optionally, change the name of the graph, then select Save.
- When you're done, select Done to return to the Financial graphs list and find the graph there.
Configure graphs
If you choose to use these graphs, you may have to set the dimension filter to reflect how your company uses dimensions. Learn more about dimension filters in financial graphs.
To set a dimension filter on a graph:
- Go to General Ledger > All > Financial reporting > Financial graphs.
- Select Edit beside the graph to which you want to add dimension filters.
- Select the Filters dropdown to expand the Filters section.
- Set your dimension filters as needed.
- Select Save.
- Go to General Ledger > All > Financial reporting > Financial graphs.
- Select More > Edit beside the graph to which you want to add dimension filters.
- Select the Filters dropdown to expand the Filters section.
- Set your dimension filters as needed.
- Select Save.
