Field descriptions: User-defined timesheet entries

Construction subscription is needed. To enable a Construction subscription, contact your Sage Intacct account manager. Regional support for Construction is limited to the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
User-defined timesheet entries field descriptions
Field Description
ID Required—unique identifier used to identify a labor or employee position timesheet entry. You can only delete unused IDs.
Name Required—Name your labor or employee position entry (80 characters). Duplicate names can exist for time entries or employee positions, as long as the IDs are unique. For example:
  • Employee positions: project manager, supervisor, general laborer
  • Labor class: apprentice, journeyman
  • Labor shift: day shift, evening shift, night shift, weekend Saturday shift, weekend Sunday shift
  • Labor union information, such as union name or number (Teamsters #, Local #)
Description Describe the labor entry or employee position (1,000 characters).
Status Indicate whether this entry is active (default) or inactive. Only active status entries can be used on timesheets. If you select a user-defined entry on a timesheet, the only change you can make is to change the status to inactive.
