Add Construction project contract lines

Learn how to add Construction project contract lines.

  1. Go to Projects > All > Project contracts.
  2. To add project contract lines, do one of the following:
    • Select Lines next to the relevant project contract then select Add.
    • Select Edit next to the applicable project contract.

      Then, go to the Project contract lines section and select Add.

  3. Enter a Line ID.

    You may want to specify whether it is associated with a parent contract line.

  4. Enter a Line name.
  5. Select the Line date.
  6. Select a GL account.
  7. Select Billable to include the project contract line when you generate invoices.
  8. Specify the Billing type by selecting one of the following options:
  9. In the Additional information section, enter the following information:
    • The Scope of the line.
    • The Schedule information for that line.
    • Internal reference information.
    • External reference information.
  10. In the Dimensions section, associate dimensions with this project contract line for billing purposes.
  11. In the Entries section, the line's billing type determines how the information you enter is used.

    Enter information for the Price effective date and Workflow type.

    The project contract line uses your entry here to generate the currency value.

  12. Select Save.
