Customize Variance Analysis email notification messages

If you enable email notifications, you can customize the email messages. Copilot will help you draft the messages if you ask.

- Go to Budgets > Setup > Configuration > Copilot Variance Analysis.
- Under Notify channels, select the Email checkbox.

Under any Email template field, select Draft with Copilot.
The email template page opens, and a draft of the message appears in the Message box.
- Modify the Subject field if needed.
- Modify the draft message if needed.
Select an option in the Adjust tone field and select Generate.
Select an option in the Adjust length field and select Generate.
Manually edit the draft message in the Message box as needed.
Do not remove the <Insight variable> line. This is required to include the insight details in the email.
As you adjust the tone and length, new drafts of the message are created. Use the arrows in the top-right corner of the Message section to move between drafts.
When you use the options to adjust the length and tone, Copilot updates the message based on the original text. Any changes that you've manually entered are not considered. So let Copilot customize the message first, and then make any changes. - Make any other changes.
- Select Save.
