Delete a journal rule—Fixed Assets Management
Journal rules determine which journals the Fixed Assets Management application can post to and how. Each rule contains details about the journal, convention, useful life units, and more. Journal rules are used to automatically populate valid information for depreciation rules, saving you time.
Before you begin
Verify that the journal rule is not used by a depreciation rule. If it is, and depreciation has not started, you might be able to edit the depreciation rule on the classifications or assets to remove the journal rule association.
