Budgeting with Excel spreadsheets

Budgets are powerful tools that you can use in financial planning and reporting. Many reports and dashboards in Sage Intacct include budget information that helps you monitor your business’s progress and compare actual results against your forecasted results.

You can do even more with Sage Intacct Planning. Integrate Intacct with Planning to sync your chart of accounts, actuals and budget data, dimensions, and more. Then use the Planning wizard, which guides you through creating a new budget.

You can specify what accounts and dimensions to use and create a budget structure using dimensions. Other tools include data modeling, what-if scenarios, and rolling forecasts to help you see the impact of key decisions. Learn more about Sage Intacct Planning.
