Troubleshoot customer reconciliation

I don't see any match sequences in my report.

After you create the match sequence and enable the Customer reconciliation report, Intacct applies the match sequence to transactions as you create or reconcile them. Older transactions will not have a match sequence.

If you recently enabled the report, you might need to wait a while as transactions are generated and paid, before you run the report.

When I filter my report to show fully-matched transactions, some transactions are missing match sequence.

Transactions that were fully reconciled before you enabled Customer reconciliation are included in the report, but they will not have a match sequence assigned to them.

How do the match sequences work? I do not understand how they are assigned
