Use report libraries

Sage Intacct offers a selection of report libraries to meet a wide range of business needs. You can use these prebuilt reports as-is or modify to suite your needs.

ICRW and IVE both require separate subscriptions. For information on how to acquire these subscriptions, contact your Sage Intacct account manager.

Financial report libraries

The Financial report library comprises a set of QuickStart libraries for reports, graphs, and dashboards. You can install these reports, graphs, and dashboards into your application. Utilizing the prebuilt libraries saves you time and help ensure that the report, graph, dashboard, or visualization delivers the expected results.

The preconfigured reports, graphs, dashboards are based on typical business use cases. After the installation from a library, you can edit, run, and schedule reports and graphs and add them to a dashboard.

You must have the right user type and permissions to install reports. If you’re unsure of the permissions you've been granted, contact your Sage Intacct administrator.

Financial reports

The QuickStart library provides a variety of financial reports that are easy to install. The reports available in your library depend on the QuickStart template used to create your company.

The QuickStart Financial reports library has multiple variations of Profit/Loss reports, balance sheet reports, cash balance, and revenue reports.

  1. Go to General Ledger > All > Financial reporting > Financial reports.

  2. From the Create dropdown button, select Create from library.
  3. Optionally select Layout to see what the report contains.
  4. Select Install next to a report you want to install.
  5. Optionally, change the Report name to the report name you want to appear in your company.
  6. Select Save.
  7. When you're finished, select Done to return to the reports library. The installed reports appear in your Financial reports list.

  7. When you're finished, select Done to return to the reports library. The installed reports appear in your Financial reports list.

Financial graphs

You can install financial graphs from the Graphs library. Some of the graphs provided are based on revenue, cash balances, and a number of profit/loss graphs.

  1. Go to General Ledger > All > Core > Financial graphs.
  2. Select QuickStart library in the upper right of the page.
  3. Find the graph that you want to install and select Install.
  4. Enter a name for the graph, then select Save.

Dashboards

The Dashboards library provides preconfigured dashboards that are easy to install.

You must have the correct permissions for the data in all the dashboard components to be able to see the dashboard results. If you’re unsure of the permissions you've been granted, see your Sage Intacct administrator.
  1. Go to Dashboards > All> Dashboards.
  2. From the Create dropdown button, select Create from library.
  3. Find the dashboard in the list and select Install.
  4. Enter a Dashboard name.
  5. Select Save.

ICRW Report library

Interactive Custom Report Writer (ICRW) comes with a library of prebuilt reports that you can view, copy, and use as a template for your own reports. You can make a copy of any report in the Library and then customize it to fit your needs.

IVE visualization library

Interactive Visual Explorer (IVE) uses visualizations to provide insights into data trends that can guide effective business planning and development. When you create a new visualization, you can select the visualization type best suited for the data
