View financial graphs

To display a particular graph, select View graph next to the graph on the Financial graphs list. Options at the bottom of the page let you change some graph characteristics, such as the graph type and as of date.

Display a graph

  1. Go to General Ledger > All > Financial reporting > Financial graphs.

  2. On the row with the graph to see, select View graph. A window opens with an image of the graph. You can change the characteristics of the graph by changing the following items in this window:
    • As of Date
    • Graph Type
    • Legend
    • Show Data Table
    • Swap Data Series

    Depending on the filter setup for the graph, additional dropdown menus might appear for you to filter on department, location, or other dimensions.

  3. Select Refresh to view your changes to the graph.

You can also print this page directly from your browser. Alternatively, you can select Printable (PDF) in the Financial Graphs list to create a PDF file. The PDF version is more formal in that it contains titles and so forth.

Field descriptions

The following table describes each item in the View Graph window.

View Graph options
Item Note

As of date

Enter the "as of" date for the graph. Leave blank to automatically use today's date.

Graph type

Change the graph type.

Legend

Re-positions the legend from the default lower-left corner location to other locations on the page.

Show data table

Select to display the table of data that appears under the graph in this window. If your data table is very long, you can deselect this checkbox to hide the table.

Swap data series

Select this checkbox if you want the names for the primary and secondary data series to swap places in the x-axis. Suppose your original graph had reporting periods as the primary series and account groups as the compare data series. Selecting this checkbox would display the account groups as the primary series and the reporting periods as the compare series.

Refresh

Refresh your page each time you make a change.

Print this graph.
