About budget reports

Use budget reports to present budget information in different ways and time frames to enhance insight into how your money is budgeted, and forecast future budgets to make them as accurate as possible.

Although there are no standard budget reports in the general ledger, there are several common financial reports that you can create for budget analysis.

Who uses budget reports

Budget reports are useful to managers, directors, purchase approvers, CFOs, and anyone involved with managing spending. Budget reports can be filtered for all types of audiences.

Where to find budget reports

You can find budget reports:

  • In Reports > AllReports center. On the main page, use the View dropdown list to view General Ledger reports. You can also drill down to a budget report from any financial report with a budget column.
  • From Budgets > All > Reports.
