ICRW AP and AR snapshot and aging reports

The Interactive Custom Report Writer (ICRW) Snapshot and Aging reports provide comprehensive views of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) at a specific point in time. AR aging reports provide information on customers who owe you money, along with payment history. AP aging reports provide detailed information on the vendors to which you owe payments and the scheduled due dates.

Integrated table views allow you to access varying levels of detail quickly for comparison and analysis.

For information on how to customize and use the View Selector to switch quickly between report views, see the AR Snapshot and Aging example.

We recommend using the Project Detail reporting area for project-based construction reporting. Construction reporting is a legacy reporting area that will not be updated.

AP Snapshot and Aging

There are two versions of this report. The Construction Real Estate (CRE) version includes retainage tracking for use with construction projects, but both versions are similar in all other capacities. Both versions are designed using multiple reporting areas with custom SQL.

Custom SQL reports offer optimum performance, but require a knowledge of custom SQL to modify. For more information, see Modify custom SQL ICRW reports.
  • AP Snapshot and Aging - CRE: Designed using the AP bills, AP payments, AP retainage release, AP adjustments, AP transactions reporting areas.
  • AP Snapshot and Aging: Designed using the AP bills, AP payments, AP adjustments, AP transactions reporting areas.

For construction projects, the AP Snapshot and Aging CRE report allows you to track and manage the payment or receipt of contractual retainage amounts. You can analyze incrementally invoiced vendors based on contract terms. Or focus on specific invoice details, such as amounts, total paid, percentage of work completed, amount due, and total outstanding amount for a project.

Construction subscription is needed. To enable a Construction subscription, contact your Sage Intacct account manager. Regional support for Construction is limited to the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Both reports provide the following:

  • Invoice identifier and the invoice date and due date
  • Individual line items on the invoice
  • Vendor, and optionally the parent vendor, on the invoice
  • Job or project related to the invoice
  • Individual transactions for each line item
  • Data segmented by department, vendor, and location
