Staff time clocks list—Sage Intelligent Time

The Staff time clocks list includes active time clocks and a history of time clocks of employees that you manage. This list ensures that you are aware of which employees are clocked in or out and which project or task they work on.

From the Staff time clocks list, you can do the following:

The entries display the times that employees clocked in and out of a project or task. These entries appear after employees clock in, clock out, or start and end their break. You can filter the list to a subset by entering the appropriate text in the filter field. For more information, go to Filter a list.

The fields that you track time by appear based on your application configuration. Go to Select fields to track time by to appear on time for more information.

Field Description

Time clock date

The date that the employee worked on a project or task.

Employee name

The name of the employee.

Clock in time

The time that the employee clocked in to a project or task.

Clock out time

The time that the employee clocked out of a project or task.

Total time

The total time that the employee worked on a project or task.

Customer

The customer associated to a project or task.

Project

The project associated to a task.

Task

The task associated to a project.

Item

The item associated to a project or task.

Day

The day that the employee worked on a project or task.

Billable

Displays a check mark when a project or task is billable.

Field Description

Create time clock

Select to create a time clock for an employee.

Play icon

Select to clock in an employee to a project or task.

Stop icon

Select to clock out an employee from a project or task.

When you select this, the following options display:

  • Entry details: Select to edit a time clock for an employee.

  • Clock out: Select to clock out an employee.

  • Start break: Select to start a break for an employee.

  • End break: Select to end a break for an employee.

  • Reuse: Select to clock in an employee.

  • Delete: Select to delete a time clock for an employee.

Dropdown icon

When you select this, the following options display:

  • Break begin: Displays the time that the employee started their break.

  • Break end: Displays the time that the employee ended their break.

  • Break time: Displays the time of the employee break.

Delete

You can delete 1 or more time clocks.

After you select the checkboxes next to time clocks, you can select Delete.
