Edit a rule set

Editing a rule set affects how incoming transactions are matched going forward for every account using this rule set.

Editing a rule or rule set does not affect transactions that have already been matched.

Say you re-run the match using an updated matching rule or rule set. The only transactions that the rule set considers are those which have never been previously matched. Transactions already matched by a rule set, manually matched, or manually unmatched are not considered.

You might need to edit a rule set for the following reasons:

  1. Go to Cash Management > Setup > Reconciliation rules > Rule sets.

  2. Find the rule set you want to edit.
  3. Select More actionsEdit at the end of the row.

  4. Make your changes.

    To remove a rule from the rule set, in the Rules table, select the trash can icon for the appropriate rule.

  5. Select Save.

  1. Go to Cash Management > Setup > Reconciliation rules > Rule sets.

  2. Find the rule set and select Edit.
  3. Make your changes.

    To remove a rule from the rule set, in the Rules table, select the trash can icon for the appropriate rule.

  4. Select Save.
