Checks—User preferences

Use these settings to manage the cheque signature used when you print cheques from your user account or to change the printing offsets for cheques.

Font size for cheques and cheque stubs is fixed. Currently, you can't change the font size.

To access your user preferences:

  • Select your login name at the top of any Sage Intacct page and select My preferences.
Preference option Description

Current signature: Upload signature

Select the Upload signature button to upload a check signature image file. After you upload the file, the signature image displays beneath Current signature.

This signature overrides any signature on the .

If the check signature is not displaying correctly on checks after changing the signature file here, try clearing your browser cache. Learn more about troubleshooting check signatures.

Current signature: Remove signature

Select the Remove signature button to remove the uploaded signature image file. This button appears after you upload a signature file.

Sage Intacct removes the signature file after you select Save.

Printing offsets

Leave the values for Horizontal and Vertical as 0.0" unless your bank rejects your cheques.

If the MICR portion of your cheques is not properly aligned (your bank is rejecting your cheques), use these controls to re-position the PDF cheque image relative to the left and top edges of the sheet of paper. Go to MICR Code Alignment.
