Manage multiple entities

The Multi-Entity Management component enables managing entities and entity settings in your company. You use the Manage Multiple Entities page to enable multi-entity and inter-entity behavior, including:

  • Using one base currency or a different base currency per entity.
  • Issuing separate 1099 forms per entity.
  • Restricting transactions to the entity level, or restricting access by customer, supplier, , or savings account.
  • Enabling the affiliate entity standard dimension (for companies with a Consolidation subscription).
  • Mapping inter-entity account pairs and managing inter-entity transactions.

Go to Manage multiple entities

  1. Go to CompanyAdmin > Subscriptions.
  2. On the Subscriptions page, select Multi-Entity Management, then select Configure.

Inter-entity transactions

Inter-entity transactions require you to account for inter-entity "due to" and "due from" amounts. For example, one entity can pay an AP supplier invoice on behalf of another entity.
