Revenue recognition schedules—AR or Order Entry

A revenue recognition schedule shows you which periods of deferred revenue have been posted, which periods have yet to be posted, and when each posting is scheduled for a transaction line item. The revenue recognition schedule displays a row containing the definition of what will be a revenue recognition journal entry for each period in the recognition term. For example, if there are 12 months in the revenue recognition term, then the revenue recognition schedule displays 12 rows.

Although you might have the option to post revenue for rows with posting dates in the past, there’s no explicit Post function available in the Revenue Recognition Schedule window. To post revenue from a schedule, use the Manage Revenue Schedules page.
