Assign roles to external users—Consoles

Assign roles to external users so that they can complete tasks in an instance. When a console user slides in to an instance, the console user is identified as a named external user.

When you assign a role to console users, external users are assigned the permissions from that role. In an instance, external users can complete the activities that they have permissions for.
